McCain voters

This morning on C-SPAN's Washington Journal nearing 8:30 am Eastern Time there were two McCain supporters who called in and their reason for NOT voting for Obama is 1) he can't put his hand over his heart when he says the Pledge of Allegiance and she didn't want a President who can't do that, and 2) Obama kissed Biden's mother on the mouth after Biden's acceptance speech last night..

Is this the group of people we're trying to convince to vote for Obama? What a waste. And what kind of lives do these people live? Are they hard to work with? I imagine trying to make a process change at work and this is the person who will complain about it no matter what we say. It seems odd that a person would be completely clueless in just one area of their life, so I assume they'd be weird to work with as well.

Other people are wanting to know about Obama's experience dealing with economic issues. What experience do we need? Its not about specific issues its about a way of looking at life. That's what the big deal is. Most of us don't have any experience with any kind of economic policy making but that doesn't stop us from having ideas. Some people are born leaders. I think Obama is one of them.
